Statement
Nando Kallweit - originality of sculptural visions
In Nando Kallweit's sculptures, statues and reliefs, poetry and emotion resonate in the interplay between object-artist-space viewer. His specifically used materials wood, mainly blackened oak and bronze, characterize this context. Traces of emotional robustness act as an inspiring design element, as do detailed finesses. Kallweit moves in the field of tension of extreme intensity, energy and exertion, and at the same time he sensitively and deliberately carries his visions into the subtractives of sculpture as well as into the additive approach of sculptural work. Thus specific basic types are created, which are varied by the artist in untiring diversity.
